Michelle Obama: Bo is my baby, he’s our son

Michelle Obama | “I sit with Bo, who usually climbs up on my lap. He thinks he’s a lap dog. He’ll cozy up with me, and I’m just clicking through mindless shows. A lot of, you know, shows about food and design, and all that good stuff. And it’s just quiet, and I’m not thinking about anything for that second — not about the kids, not about my husband, not about my schedule. If I get an hour of that during the course of a week, it feels like heaven.”

“Bo is my baby, he’s our son. He’s wonderful. He’s growing. It’s like I’m a mother. You ask about my kid, I’m gone.”

Obama, kids and photographers

This is a sticky issue for the most powerful man on the planet. Freedom of Press Photography !

President Obama dont like his children being constantly “flashed” by the media. Is’nt that odd.. He himself preaches press freedom and he himself practices against it.

For now, he gets away with it as most of the world media is in love with him.

For now, media is allowed to take pictures of kids whenever it can be used to “boost” President’s image, like on the occasion of Father’s day.

I am curious to know what happens when media drops its Obama-love sometime in future…

PS: According to my friend, the line between “privacy” and “media gag” is a very thin one.
