July 10th is my twitter anniversary… I never even had a GF for this long, so this is some kind of a record…hehe.
To tell the truth, I am disappointed with twitter.
Why ? Almost all other internet-related sites / applications has given me [shown me] at least a single really incredible friend, but twitter has not done that so far. There are lot of people on twitter – Celebs & Plebeians – but, i havent discovered any “wow” personality so far.
To make matters worse, twitter is increasingly becoming a place for spammers [link-molesters]. Im sick of those online marketing pple.
After one year, my best tweet friends are those i gained from other sites/applns. Nobody has come so far exclusively from the twitterworld into my sphere of events.
I am happy that twitter is flexing its muscles in geopolitical playground. Nothing is better than to see underdogs fighting, and fighting well.
PS: Another menace with the twitterworld is the rumour-mill associated with it. I wonder whats wrong with people… Harrison ford died ???
