Asianet Cable Vision, the largest cable channel provider in Kerala, is cheating cricket lovers in kerala by excluding Ten Sports from their corsage of channels.
Why are they doing this ?
A phone call to the local service center informs us about the spat between Ten Sports and ACV about some pecuniary issues.
I wonder whether ACV knows about the rally of cricket Ten Sports has in their kitty for 2009 ?
As far as I know, Ten Sports has rights for international games in South Africa, West Indies, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and UAE. This will make them the ‘place-to-go’ channel as far as cricket lovers are concerned.
As of now, kerala’s cricket buffs will miss out on England tour of West Indies, Australia’s tour of South Africa, and Srilanka’s tour of Pakistan.
If this is not cheating… what is ???
Asianet people are having a meeting with Ten SPorts in the first half of March. Hope they will resolve their issues soon. Otherwise, people have to consider switching to other carriers for their favorite sport.
