Here is a vignette of what I will do if I was put in helm of world power.
these are my prime world issues.
1. Economic situation.
2. Israel-Palestine issue.
3. India-Pakistan issue.
4. Iran issue.
5. Jihad issue.
6. North Korean issue.
7. United Nations issue.
8. Climate issue.
9. Iraq.
10. Afghanistan.
Even though it numbered to 10, it is not prioritised in that order.
1. Economic situation: I have no knowledge of economy, as Mr.McCain admits. But, what i call for is more regulation. Strict regulation while keeping up the capitalist mentality. Although, I prefer a soft capitalism. By soft capitalism, i mean i would like to see the gap between rich and poor decreasing with time. And, in the mean time, I would like to see soft capitalism giving way to Green Capitalism.
2. Israel-Palestine issue: Every crisis is an oppurtunity to do something good..great infact. This is one of the chief issue that dominate the world politics for decades now. Everytime there is a solution, it turns out to be temporary. Now, everybody knows the problem has a deep root. Therefore, the solution should have the teeth to penetrate deep to uproot even the newest seed of this lasting problem.
Here is the solution: An emergency meet with Arab league. Convince them that the solution is going to be everlasting. Demand a full-and-open-public support of Arab league. Every Arab country should sent their diplomats to their friend countries to advertise the ’solution’ ensuring a global spike in ’solution noise’.
Second stage of things…direct communication with Palestine. With the help of Arabs, convince the Palestine for an unconditional withdrawal of their defence – the so called rockets. No more rockets to Israel. That will create a stage of one-way aggression, Isrealian.
third stage: Announce a grand POLICY change, effective for the new-world situations.
Jist of the new POLICY:
a. Countries will be urged to have a secular outlook, instead of any particular relegion.
b. All kids will be exposed to atleast 3 world relegions in their school years.
c. Relegion will be play any role in the policy making.
d. Will not use VETO power for selfish use.
e. Promote Green policies.
f. Will comply with UN and other world powers to stop genocides.
g. Participate in the global war against poverty.
i. Participate in tracking global killer diseases.
stage four: In the light of the new POLICY, issue a STERN and AGGRESSIVE WARNING to Israel for its one-way aggression. Asks UN for direct and emergency action by calling a security council session. [This stage will be coded S4 for future use in this article]
Stage four will defenetly bring the Israel aggression to a halt. That will also change the dynamics of United State’s position in the heart and mind of muslims, there by building a strong immunity wall around the spreading Jihadian movement.
3. India-Pakistan issue: Historically, India and Pakistan had very rough relationship with eachother owing to the chief problem of Kashmir. As situation stands now, India and Pakistan occupy some portion of Kashmir state as I-O-K and I-O-K seperated by the LINE-OF-CONTROL.
Since both countries are nuclear powered, another war between these two will be catastrophic for the entire subcontinent, if not for the world.
Eventhough, there are many solutions to this nagging issue of Kashmir, the most reliable and everlasting one is of fixing the international boundary of India and Pakistan on the current LINE-OF-CONTROL.
This along with other steps like increasing cultural and economic ties will help to build a stronger, beautiful, and peaceful subcontinent. In future, it may even pay way to a FALL-of-WALL-in-BERLIN like situation. That will be a great achievement for humanity.
4. Iran Issue: This issue can be solved through the after-effects of S4. Iran no longer have to consider United States as an enemey. Also, for its nuclear power ambitions, if needed, US can sign a treaty on the lines of Indo-US nuclear deal.
5. Jihad Issue: Solved through S4 and new POLICY.
6. North Korean issue: This is similar to Iranian issue and so, dealt with similarly. If both parties can come together, it will be a great thing to merge together and become a global power under the common name KOREA.
7. United Nations issue: The UN is currently a weak body. Eventhough it is the largest international political agency, its powers are very dilute. For example, it dont have enough power to douse a war with in days of its breaking. Reforms are needed to make it a powerful agency from its current status of tittle-tattle agency. New security members should be ‘grooved-in’, representing all the continents. All other global agencies like NATO, Arab league will have to cooperative with the UN. Even the smallest of the countries will have a powerful voice in the new system.
8. Climate Change: The new UN should cox-swain this issue. Every economic theory should be painted green. Everyone should respect this and identify this as a global killer if ignored anymore.
9. Iraq: Will be resolved through the after effects of S4. The country will be given back to its people. Democracy as act as the future-shaping instrument.
10. Afghanistan: Very similar solution to Iraq. It will be a sovereign democratic state with secular credentials.

That was interesting to read – you’ve got some good ideas there.

If I were Obama, I’d begin with a simple concrete act that could get the masses and troops behind me. I’d end the push for “Endless War” to break the cycle of hate. I’d lead by example and demand integrity from all those in my administration. There would be no ministering to daughters or interns in the WH while the wife is busy. I’d invite the world to visit and see our pride, not watch us hide from what some fear. I’d demand we start producing more food, medicine, be healthier and more educated while sharing this globally. I’d respect Earth as our ship and the common link we have to the Universe and God. I wouldn’t make change be about me, I’d change to make politics be about you. Anybody could contact me with a good idea and I’d give them credit. Equal opportunity not cash would rule everthing around me. Finally, “We Can” would trump “I want” everywhere. That’s what I would do if I were Obama.
