Jayalakshmi silks – sari center at Ernakulam is one of the best sari centers in Kerala. It was one of the popular choices as far as girls and women in my family too. But, now it is not the case. Recently, on the occassion of my cuzzin’s marriage, my family took few wedding sarees from Jayalakshmi. On reaching home, they found that one of the sari was damaged, as it had a hole in it. The premier sari center of the state did not do what they were supposed to do… they did not take back the sari nor made an apology. Well, in a way this incident will have a positive effect – it will , hopefully, decrease the craze for dress among female members in my family !

Once i went to jayalekshmi to exchange my son’s dress which was not fitting properly. They told me to wait at the exchange counter, after some time one person came and asked me about it. I explained the matter, he said they will exhange items upto three months from the date of purchase. It was just 3 months and 2 days, then he said its not possible to exchange. I requested him to consider my case as i was out of station for these days. He took the dress and just walk few steps, then came back, threw the dress to their table without telling me anything. I didn’t understand anything.. I waited there for half an hour, nothing happened..I went to see the GM of the shop. I could face an old man standing there in a helpless mood. He talked to the previous guy, but no use…he was murmering something.. I left the shop leaving the dress there which i cannot use later.I was ashamed of myself being purchased something from jayalekshmi.Yesterday my friends went to jayalekshmi and they also experienced the proble. That man standing (i think his name is joy or something..)near to the churidhar material section is behaving in an idiotic manner. Now we don’t interested in shopping with jayalekshmi. This is very shameful to such a renowned shop like jayalekshmi…
WHY NOT YOU TAKE THEM TO CONSUMER COURT ???
It will a waste of court’s time..i guess as decision to avoid that shop can be taken by anyone involved in this case..ehh
