Asianet Cable Vision, the largest cable network in Kerala, once again did the blunder of taking off Star Cricket from their channel portfolio as the Test Match between England and South Africa were to enter to into an interesting phase. They did the same thing last time when on the last day Graeme Smith played one of the historic innings of the test history to win the match and the series. None of the ACV viewers in Alleppey, i am sure, saw that inning.
These cable providers raise their voice against new domestic and foreign DTH companies entering into the market. One wonder why they do that ? They surely have no rights to do that after doing such unscrupulous activities.
Such things like removing a sports channel when an international test match is well poised and running exactly on that channel shows the prowess [or the lack of it] of the channel authorities who are behind the scenes controlling all these things.
The cable providers should know that they are playing wiith the patience of their loyal viewers.
