is an Icon in India now, so the decision to give the highest crown of sports in the country to him is very befitting. One thing most people cant digest is why he abstained himself from the test series against Srilanka instead of taking a leave from the ODI series. This is an emerging pattern in the world cricket as Test cricket is being viewed as moneyless, boring piece of entertainment where as the shorter versions of the game are getting all the limelight. In the absence of Dhoni, India manage to level the series and now, will be looking forward to win their first series victory in the Srilankan Soil. I dont know whether they have acheived that earlier, but this series victory will be a special one as Srilanka is the one of the toughest place to play cricket. CNN-IBN is going to broadcast that political sting operation. Wonder they forgot what is mean by FREE PRESS and right to information of the people in the country. Whenever some writer or director is prevented from publishing his or her work, the whole press fraternity will make noise about FREEDOM OF SPEECH. I wonder what happened to that FREEDOM OF SPEECH of CNN-IBN now.
