Communists in India could pull plug of 14th Indian parliament anytime now on Ind0-US nuclear deal. Left parties say indian Prime Minister sold country’s interest to United States. Current [17th] Prime Minister of INdia, ManMohan Singh is considered to be close to US president George W Bush.
Prime minister is not considering the majority of the parliament which is against the Indo-US nuke deal. PM is going to the G8 summit in Tōyako, Hokkaidō in Japan, where India is an invited guest. Most people wonder why PM consider nuke deal as a prestige issue when country’s inflatio is sky rocketing. Common man need rice on his table, not nuke. It is hard to gauge an economist like ManMohan Singh could overlook such a fact.
Fact of the matter is noone really knows much about this nuke deal. How can Indian public believe such a deal which is not even shown to the major political parties of the country. This obviously shows that PM has something to hide. Is he selling the country to US for his historic image ?
One thing is sure. End of 14th Indian Government is hours away. It is really sad to see a champion economist like manmohan singh getting whorled around and getting labelled as a traitor and country-seller.
